Ingredients

  • 1 egg plant about 700g in weight
  • 1.5 Tbsp psyllium husk
  • 11/4 cup of water

Instructions

  • Blend till smooth
  • Transfer into pot and bring to a boil cook for about 5 minutes while you stir
  • Add the psyllium husk powder and keep stirring like you would with regular Amala.
  • Cook for about 3 minutes
  • Turn off heat, wrap in seran wrap and allow to cool.
  • Eat with any soup of choice

Notes

* When using Recipes with psyllium husks in it it is advise you drink a lot of water because Psyllium is an absorbent fibre and absorbs water as it moves through the digestive tract, if one doesn't take enough water it may clump up together in the intestine and cause intestinal blockage or severe constpation.
