Ingredients
2lbsbeef
3cupschicken stockI prefer chicken to beef stock
3TablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
2TablespoonsTomato paste
3carrots chopped
4celery ribs
1small onion
2Tbspolive oil
1lbred radishespeeled and halved
1TablespoonItalian seasoning
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspooncrushed pepper flakes
1teaspoonbouillon powder
¼teaspoonsaltadjust to taste
Instructions
Sear meat in olive oil till browned on all sides. Add seasoning blend and onions. Stir to combine. You might notice some juice coming out of the meat that’s ok.
Reduce to a simmer, Pour in the meat stock and Worcestershire sauce. Then add in the tomato paste. Stir to combine.
Add in the radishes, carrots and celery. Stir and cover pot. Let it simmer on low heat for about 25 -30 mins. If you like the beef really soft, simmer for longer (up to 40 mins) Make sure to taste and adjust accordingly.
