I am a trained medical doctor with a passion for nutrition and weight management. I am here not only to guide you to your desired goal but also to help you be confident in your current body while we work towards getting you to the place you want to be.
A little insight about my weight
I have lost tremendous amount of Weight on two occasions which I gained back with each pregnancy because my appetite goes haywire with pregnancy hormones.
Why did I gain all this back? Because I was going about it the wrong way. I thought I had cracked the code until I took a keen interest on the low carb/ketogenic lifestyle which I have found very helpful. I am here to share all that with you one article at a time, one recipe at a time.
Growing up, I was always the big kid meaning I have always been conscious of my weight for as long as I can remember.
So I totally get how one can be uncomfortable in one's skin especially in a society where the definition of beauty is defined by body statistics.
The goal of this website is to keep you informed and guide you to a healthier lifestyle by making informed choices.
I want you to know this is not a lose weight quick programme though in some cases you actually will. But the FOCUS is to help you create a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
You can start where you are. I want you to be comfortable in YOUR skin no matter where you are at the moment while we work toward YOUR goal. You don't have to be worried about body Shaming.
