Recipe notes and tips
- You do not need to preheat the air fryer
- Pat hot dogs dry before wrapping so the bacon adheres properly during cooking.
- Use thin sliced bacon rather than thick cut for even cooking.
- Watch closely near the end of cook time to avoid over-browning.
- Adjust air fryer temperature and cook times as needed based on quantity.
it takes typically 10 mins to cook these at 400°F (200°C) in a non preheated air fryer. You can always add more time as needed.
Absolutely! Follow the same instructions. However keep an eye on the turkey bacon so that turkey bacon doesn’t burn.
Unlike an oven, preheating is not necessary when air frying.
Feel free to brush the bacon with sugar free maple syrup, sugar free brown sugar or cayenne before air frying.
For best results I recommend flipping them halfway through for even crispiness.
