When I was growing up, I never knew where butter came from. We had butter occasionally in the house but back then butter was very expensive and if bought it was a special buy and usually reserved for my dad. Of course dad would share with us but you can't just walk up the the refrigerator and touch dad's 'Anchor' butter. I think that was the name of brand ?.

Things are a lot different now. Butter is easily accessible now albeit pricey so you can have butter whenever and however. Now that I know where butter comes from I can make mine whenever I want to and I will be sharing how to make butter with you today. You can easily make garlic butter for your air fryer salmon or air fryer shrimp!

    Where does butter come from?

Butter comes from heavy cream which is the thick fatty part of milk which floats to the top of fresh milk. It is taken off from the top of milk and used to as heavy cream.

How to make Butter at home.

You won't believe how incredibly easy it is to make your own butter all you need to do is whip your heavy cream till the cream separates into butter and butter milk. This process takes a total of 10 mins. Now how cool is that?

You can make butter using the following methods.

In a jar ( grab some elbow grease )
With a hand mixer or stand mixer ( this is the method I used in this post)
In a food processor or blender
