    Lemonade is one drink that is ever so popular during the summer months and for good reason too. It refreshing tangy yet sweet. A lot of sugar goes into making regular homemade lemonade and even more sugar and other ingredients go into commercial Lemonade. For the best of both worlds, check out my sugar free lemonade.

    Sugar free Strawberry Lemonade is a variant of traditional lemonade. This sugar free version is even better since It's free of refined sugar.

    How to make Sugar free Strawberry Lemonade

    A simple mix of strawberries and lemons in the right proportion will get you on the right track in no time.

    Make the lemonade, blend the strawberries, strain and mix. Some recipes require that the strawberries be cooked, mashed, strained before mixing with the lemonade.

    In this recipe I decided to go fresh. I simply blended the fresh strawberries then strained before mixing with the lemonade.

    Q. Can I use store bought lemon juice instead of fresh lemons?

    A. Yes you can. If you don't have fresh lemons and you have the store bought lemon juice, you can use it. Your strawberry lemonade will still taste great.

    Q. Can I use store bought lemonade?

    A. Unfortunately you can't use store bought lemonade for this sugar free strawberry lemonade since store bought lemonade is loaded with lots of sugar. But if you are not sugar free or diabetic you can use it to make regular homemade strawberry lemonade not the sugar free variant.

    Q. I don't like strawberries can I use any other fruit or veggies?

    A. Yes you can. You can make Raspberry lemonade, blueberry lemonade. You can even make cucumber lemonade or watermelon lemonade.

    Q. What kind of sweetener can I use?

    A. For the sweetener to blend in properly. It's best to use the powdered sweeteners. If you already have the granular sweetener at home, simply blend with a coffee grinder like I did here. It's cheaper to make your own sugar free powdered sugar.

    How to make keto Strawberry Lemonade

    Ingredients:

    ½ cup lemon juice

    2 ½ tablespoon powdered sweetener

    2 ½ cup water

    4 strawberries

    Directions

    Cut up strawberries

    Put strawberries and sweetener in a bowl

    Pour in I/2 cup of water in the bowl and blend up with an immersion blender

    Strain with with a nut bag

    Transfer strained juice into a pitcher, add lemon juice and remaining water.

    Stir to mix and serve over ice.
