- Place raw eggs in the air fryer, be careful not to break them. Set t to 270 F and timer for 15 mins.
- When the air-frying cycle is done, get the eggs into an ice bath or cold water using kitchen tongs.
- Let it sit in there for 3-5 mins then crack eggs in a hard surface or by gently rolling on the counter to crack. Then gently peel the eggs.
Making soft boiled eggs in the air fryer.
If you can boil eggs in an air fryer, then you can make it any way you like. Meaning soft boiled eggs an in order. To make soft boiled eggs, You would need to adjust the time and not the temperature.

Quick Recipe Notes and Tips
- My air fryer can make up to 12 eggs at a time. No need to change temperature or time.
- The trick to easy peel eggs is to shock the cooked eggs in an ice bath for 5 mins then peel immediately.
- If you want to store it for later, a quick trick to help you peel easily when you are ready is to give it some cracks by rolling on a hard surface. When you are ready to peel, let it come to room temperature and peel in bowl of water. Water getting into the cracks will help it peel easily.
- Make sure the eggs are not cracked or it will leak.

I will NEVER use this receipe again.....followed the instructions to a "T" and the eggs were way under cooked and hard as all get out to peel...wasted 6 eggs on this
Chichi Uguru
Hi Larry,
I honestly don’t know what could have gone wrong with yours. I do this all the time and I always get consistent results. 270°F for 15 mins no preheat. Ice water for 5 mins works like a charm.
Air fryers cook differently. Maybe that’s the issue. However, I use both the Gourmia and Cosori air fryers for eggs and they are always consistent.
Which brand of air fryer do you have could be the brand. You might need to add more time to get the perfect eggs in yours.
You can watch this video, it might help you. https://youtu.be/wlnEmvqqmI0
Thanks for letting me know.

My air fryer's lowest temp is 300f. How long should they cook @ 300f ??
Chichi Uguru
Hi Pam,
To be honest. I haven’t tried it at 300°F. However I’d suggest cooking it for 12 to 13 mins if cooking at 300°F. Let us know if you try it out. I will also give it a try and let you know.
