    What is a compote?

As defined by Wikipedia, Compote is a dessert originating from medieval Europe, made of whole or pieces of fruit cooked in sugar syrup with spices like cinnamon added to it.

I made my keto strawberry compote with strawberries and blueberries but you can definitely make yours with any low carb/ keto fruit you like. A little bit of lemon juice and lemon peel plus a dash of cinnamon made a yum factor in this strawberry blueberry compote.
